KUCHING: The Sarawak contingent is determined to work hard to ensure success in the next edition of Sukan Se-Malaysia (SUKSEM), slated to be held in Perak in 2026.

According to Deputy Sarawak Secretary (Administration), Datu Buckland Bangik, a comprehensive post-mortem will be conducted to analyse the performance of the Sarawak contingent in SUKSEM 2024.

Nevertheless, he applauded the team’s efforts in performing admirably despite finishing fourth this year.

"We were the champions during the Selangor edition but ranked fourth in Terengganu. So, during the post-mortem, we need to conduct an inward and outward analysis.
