KUCHING: The Sarawak Government has confirmed that discussions between Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS) and Petroleum Sarawak Berhad (PETROS) regarding the implementation of the single gas aggregator arrangement under the Gas Distribution Ordinance 2016 are still ongoing.

According to Sarawak Minister for Utility and Telecommunication, Dato Sri Julaihi Narawi, the Sarawak Government reiterates that under the Ordinance, PETROS has been appointed as the sole gas aggregator.

In a statement released today, he clarified that no other gas aggregators have been appointed in the state.

He added that the Sarawak Government is confident that the ongoing negotiations between PETRONAS and PETROS on this matter will be concluded soon.-UKASnews
