KUCHING: The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has clarified that the information circulating via WhatsApp regarding a People's Housing Project (PPR) in Kampung Segedup and Kampung Sungai Maong is unfounded.

According to HDC, the ongoing project in the area is the Kampung Extension Scheme (SPK) under the Land and Survey Department (JTS), and not a housing project managed by HDC, as claimed in the messages.

HDC urges the public to refrain from spreading inaccurate information to avoid confusion within the community.
