KUCHING: A total of 256 participants are expected to take part in the 30th PUSAKA Golf Tournament scheduled for October 26 at the Sarawak Golf Club (KGS).

The tournament will include various categories, such as VIP guests, special invitations, PUSAKA staff, and Men’s and Women’s Open divisions.

General Manager of the Sarawak Timber Industry Development Corporation (PUSAKA), Zainal Abidin Abdullah said this year’s edition is anticipated to be a prestigious event that will enhance sportsmanship and foster cooperation among timber industry players and the general public.

He explained that the main goal of this annual event is to strengthen relationships between agencies, subsidiaries, and key players in Sarawak’s timber industry while promoting greater collaboration within the sector through golf.

He shared these remarks during the Hole-In-One Prize Presentation and PUSAKA Golf Challenge Trophy ceremony held at Wisma Sumber Alam, Petra Jaya, on Thursday.

Participants will have the opportunity to compete for exciting ‘Hole-In-One’ prizes such as holiday packages, a home theatre system, a Perodua Bezza 1.0, a Perodua Myvi 1.5, and a Rolex watch, adding to the excitement and making the tournament one of the most eagerly awaited events this year.
