KUCHING: The Borneo Sonic Music Festival rocked Sarawak Stadium on Saturday with a crowd of around 20,000 fans, creating an electric atmosphere on its second day.
One of the major highlights was the debut performance in Malaysia by Korean-American rapper, singer, and songwriter, Jessi.
Closing the show with a powerful set of seven songs, she captivated thousands of fans with hits like What Type of X, Gucci, Smoke, Cold Blooded, Gum, Zoom, and Nunu Nana.
Jessi delighted the crowd by learning a few Sarawakian phrases and engaging in fan service, personally interacting with many attendees.
Earlier in the evening, Indonesian star Judika brought an emotional touch to the night.
His deep, soulful voice filled the stadium as he performed popular songs like Tak Mungkin Bersama, Aku Yang Tersakiti, and Bagaimana Kalau Aku Tidak Baik Baik Saja, setting a reflective ‘galau’ mood.
The festival also featured a variety of performers, including Zed-X, Jess Lee, DJ Slumberjack, Natalie La Rose, DOLLA, DJ Blink, and Yuna, keeping the energy high from start to finish.
Sponsorships added to the fan experience with giveaways like light-up balloons and hand fans, making the night even more memorable. -UKASnews
