KAPIT: A total of RM145 million has been allocated for the construction project of the Nanga Kabah/SK Beguang/Sungai Song Road.
The 16.3-kilometre (km) road from Nanga Kabah to Nanga Temiang will be built over three years from April 1, 2024, to April 1, 2027.
The project falls under the supervision of the Department of Irrigation and Drainage, with Musyati Sdn Bhd serving as the main contractor.
In relation to this, Katibas assemblyman, Lidam Assan also visited the site to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for the project on Thursday.
The visit aimed to select a suitable site for the groundbreaking ceremony of the project where they travelled from Pekan Song to Log Pond Nanga Beguang using a speedboat. -UKASnews
