KUCHING: The Scorecard Brainstorming session for the Sarawak Administrative Divisions was held successfully, involving 26 officials from various agencies including Ministries and Units in the Sarawak Premier's Department.

The session, which was held here yesterday, aimed to set strategic performance measurements that are in line with the service delivery system at the divisional level. 

It also emphasised the importance of cooperation between the agencies involved.
 
In his speech, Sarawak Transformation and Innovation Unit (STIU) Director, Superi Awang Said underlined the need for agencies to increase cooperation and communicate more effectively through project monitoring and community programme implementations.

"The involvement of main agencies is an important element in formulating policies and providing the necessary guidance to ensure effective performance monitoring and evaluation,” he added.

Meanwhile, the session also emphasised that performance monitoring is key to ensure that every initiative implemented has a positive impact on the community.

With accurate performance measurement, it is hoped that the achievement of strategic goals in the Sarawak Administrative Divisions can be improved. -UKASnews
