MIRI: The Miri Port Authority hosted the launch of the 2024 Customer and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Open Day at Miri Port, Kuala Baram, on Monday.

Batu Danau assemblyman Dato Palu @ Paulus Palu Gumbang, emphasised the importance of workplace safety as a cornerstone of business success and urged all parties to continue supporting the Authority’s initiatives.

"The 2024 Customer and HSE Open Day demonstrates our commitment to appreciating our customers and business partners. 

"This year's theme, Workplace Safety: A Shared Responsibility, is crucial in fostering a safer and more sustainable work culture, not only at work but also at home," he said.

He said this during the launch ceremony of the Miri Port Customer and HSE Open Day 2024 on Monday.

The event, aimed at strengthening cooperation between Miri Port and its customers, was attended by approximately 200 guests, including the port community, customers, government agencies, and business partners of the Miri Port Authority.

Also present were the General Manager of Miri Port Authority, Serawa Budol, members of the Board of Directors of Miri Port Authority (LPM), department heads, and representatives from both public and private sector agencies.-UKASnews
