KUCHING: Sarawak Minister for Education, Innovation and Talent Development, Dato Sri Roland Sagah Wee Inn received a courtesy call from the Ambassador of Ireland to Malaysia, Orla Tunney.

The visit, held at the LCDA Building here on Thursday, aimed to discuss potential collaborations between the Sarawak government and the Irish government. 

The hour-long meeting also touched on education, the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), as well as human capital development in Sarawak.

Meanwhile, Orla is also scheduled to visit the Natural History Museum and Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS).

Also present were Chairman of UNIMAS Board of Directors, Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima Sulong Matjeraie, and Deputy Permanent Secretary to the Sarawak Ministry of Education, Innovation and Talent Development, Anielia Siam. -UKASnews
