SARIKEI: The Sarawak Service Centre (PSS) in Sarikei began operations today, offering its services and facilities to the local community.
PSS is a people-friendly initiative by the Sarawak Government aimed at transforming service delivery into a one-stop solution, where services are provided through various channels, including counters, mobile apps, official portals, and e-kiosks.
The Sarawak Public Service Digitalisation Unit announced that PSS is already operating in six divisions which are Kuching, Serian, Betong, Sri Aman, Sibu, and Miri.
PSS Sarikei is the seventh PSS centre in Sarawak.
Some of the services provided by PSS include payment of water and electricity bills, assessment tax, Sarawak Gas, repayment of housing loans to the Sarawak Housing Development Corporation (HDC), and land rent.
PSS Sarikei operates from Monday to Friday and is closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
