Sepupok Health Clinic Project Has Been Approved Under RP3
BEKENU: The Sepupok Niah Health Clinic project has been approved under the Third Rolling Plan (RP3), marking a significant stage for the development of the clinic.
Deputy Health Minister, Dato Lukanisman Awang Sauni, said the process of identifying contractors and construction phases is expected to start in 2025 and will take 36 months to complete.
He mentioned that currently, the Sepupok Health Clinic is operating temporarily in a shop lot in the area.
He said this at the Sibuti Hari Raya Open House event at the Bekenu Community Hall on Saturday.
It is estimated that around 1,000 people attended the open house, which lasted from 10 am to 4 pm.
Various delicacies were served to the guests to celebrate Aidilfitri with the residents of the Sibuti area.
Also present were Deputy Minister for Women, Early Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development Datuk Rosey Yunus, Deputy Minister for Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development Datuk Dr Ripin Lamat, and Miri Member of Parliament Chiew Choon Man. -UKASnews
