LAWAS: The mastery of education, skills, and various languages must be emphasised to the younger generation in embracing the current changes.
Sarawak Deputy Premier, Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan, said this is to ensure that the youth are well exposed to the currents of change involving digital economy, trade, and many more.
According to him, the state government is always aware of the revolving times to improve the quality of life of the people through education and entrepreneurship.
He said this during the Malam Ziarah Aidilfitri organised by the Village Development and Security Committees (JKKKs) of Kampung Dato Menengah, Kampung Dato Laut, and Kampung Dato Ulu at the Waterfront Kampung Dato, Kuala Lawas recently.
Datuk Amar Awang Tengah added that the Sarawak government will continue to strive to develop and upgrade road facilities, electricity, and water supplies for the long-term benefit of the people.
