Daro Set To Benefit From Mega Projects

DARO: Daro is on the brink of a major economic transformation, thanks to a series of ambitious development projects in the pipeline.

Sarawak Deputy Premier, Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan, stated that this includes mega projects such as the Muara Lassa Bridge, Batang Paloh Bridge, and Batang Igan Bridge.

In addition to these infrastructure projects, plans are underway to establish key facilities such as the Entrepreneur Hub, Daro Riverfront, and Daro Digital Resource Centre.

These initiatives are expected to not only boost economic growth but also create new job opportunities for local residents, according to the Delta Rajang Development Agency (RADDA).

"The Delta Rajang Development Agency has plans to undertake high impact projects to create job opportunities for local residents," he said.

He said this while officiating the Daro Festival 2024 at the Open Hall in the New Daro Township on Sunday.

Earlier, Datuk Amar Awang Tengah officiated the presentation of the Section 6 Sarawak Land Code Gazette and Section 18 Sarawak Land Code Land Titles to 108 recipients from Kampung Tradisional, Kampung Itol and Kampung Nangar Besar.

Also present were Daro Assemblyman, Safiee Ahmad, Member of Parliament of Igan, Ahmad Johnie Zawawi, Member of Parliament of Tanjong Manis , Ir Yusuf Abdul Wahab, Telian Assemblyman, Royston Valentine, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Urban Development, Datu Abdullah Julaihi, and Mukah Division Resident, Tuan Kueh Lei Poh. - UKASnews
