KUCHING: The pivotal role of Sarawak Skills in leading vocational training and skills development in the state continues to be celebrated, marking three decades since its establishment.

Sarawak Skills Chairman, Tan Sri Datuk Amar Dr Abdul Aziz Dato Husain, stated that the institution remains committed to industry excellence and is prepared to adapt to the evolving landscape of education and industry.

In line with Sarawak Skills’ efforts to plan for a sustainable future, he introduced a new vision, 'TVET Trendsetter,' aimed at strengthening its legacy of excellence in vocational training and skills development.

"Starting as a pioneering initiative with a vision to enhance vocational training in Sarawak, Sarawak Skills has now evolved into a key pillar in the state’s education and industry landscape.

"The transformation from a nascent organisation to a leading force in skill development reflects the dedication and collaborative spirit of everyone involved," he said.
