KUCHING: Deputy Minister in the Premier's Department (Corporate Affairs, Information & UKAS) Datuk Abdullah Saidol attended the Hari Raya Open House organised by the Commander of the Army's Eastern Field, Lieutenant General Dato' Mohd Sofi Md Lepi.
This was celebrated together with members of the Malaysian Army at the official residence of he Eastern Field Commander at Jalan Taman Budaya here on Saturday.
Also gracing the open house event were Lieutenant General Dato' Mohd Sofi's wife Datin Erni Irawati Rosli, Sarawak Deputy State Secretary (Administration) Datu Buckland Bangik, Commander of the Malaysian Armed Forces First Division Infantry, Major General Datuk Mohamed Fauzi Kamis, Commander of the Ninth Infantry Brigade of Malaysia, Brig Gen Ahmad Norzaini Badrun, Director of the Sarawak State Fire and Rescue Department, Datu Khirudin Drahman@Hussaini, Director of the Islamic Development Department of Malaysia (JAKIM) Sarawak, Hamdan Jar'ee, Director of the Tabung Haji Sarawak, Amat Kassim Pait as well as other distinguished guests.
In the meantime, Dato' Mohd Sofi expressed his appreciation to all the invited guests for coming together to enliven the Aidilfitri celebration this year.
