TELANG USAN: The Sarawak state-level International Women's Day celebration in the Telang Usan area was graced by the participation of 20 women.

This group included department heads, representatives from various departments, and staff from the Telang Usan District Office.

The event featured a range of activities, including aerobics, a sports day, and a colouring competition.

Participants also tuned in to the live broadcast of the International Women's Day 2024 celebration, which was officially inaugurated by the Premier of Sarawak, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Abdul Rahman Zohari Tun Datuk Abang Openg in Sibu.

This year, Sibu had the honour of hosting the state-level International Women's Day celebration, which took place at RH Hotel Sibu on August 10.

The theme for the celebration was 'Sarawak Women in Innovation and Technology'. -UKASnews
