KUCHING: The Aidilfitri open house event of the Sarawak Premier received an extraordinary response with over 5,000 guests visiting in the morning at the Borneo Convention Center Kuching (BCCK) here on Wednesday.
The event was graced by the presence of the Sarawak Premier, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Abdul Rahman Zohari Tun Datuk Abang Openg and his wife, Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma'ani Tun Tuanku Bujang.
Also enlivening the open house event were Sarawak Deputy Premiers Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas, Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan, Sarawak State Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki, and other members of the state cabinet.
Visitors from various ethnicities, races, and religions began queuing as early as 9 am to join in the festivities of the open house.
The lively atmosphere continued at BCCK, where guests interacted and shared joy while enjoying the warm Aidilfitri celebration ambiance.
Strict safety measures were also taken by the organisers to ensure the safety of all attendees.
