MIRI: A briefing for general volunteers of the 21st Malaysia Games (SUKMA XXI) Sarawak 2024, organised by the Miri Division Youth and Sports Office, took place at the ILP Miri Hall on Sunday.

A total of 250 volunteers attended the briefing and presentation given by the Miri Division Youth and Sports Officer, Roley Lagir.

They were informed about the duties and responsibilities of the volunteer workforce, after which the volunteers were assigned to their respective committees.

Meanwhile, the Workforce and General Volunteer Committee is managed and coordinated by the Sarawak State Department of Youth and Sports through the Miri Division Youth and Sports Office.

According to Roley, the Miri Division Youth and Sports Office operates as a Satellite Centre located at Wisma Persekutuan, Jalan Kipas, specifically for handling matters related to general volunteers. -UKASnews
