KUCHING: Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Abdul Rahman Zohari Tun Datuk Abang Openg graced an aid contribution ceremony to asnaf children of the Nur Murni Care Centre here, on Sunday.
In the ceremony, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Zohari along with his wife Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma'ani Tun Tuanku Bujang delivered Hari Raya Aidilfitri contributions to 35 residents of the care centre.
The event was organised by the Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation (SDEC) and the Centre for Technology Excellence Sarawak (CENTEXS).
A contribution of RM8,000 was also given to the care centre, presented by the Chairman of both SDEC and CENTEXS Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Morshidi Abdul Ghani.
Meanwhile, the Sarawak Premier, guests and attendees had the opportunity to perform the Maghrib prayer in congregation.
Following the dinner and contribution presentation, the honoured guests also performed the Isha and Tarawih prayers in congregation before the event concluded.
Also present were Minister for Utility and Telecommunication Dato Sri Julaihi Narawi, Sarawak Deputy State Secretary (Economic Planning and Development) Datu Dr Muhammad Abdullah Zaidel, Chief Political Secretary to the Sarawak Premier and Tupong Assemblyman Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman, CEO of CENTEXS Dato Syeed Mohd Hussien Wan Abdul Rahman, and other honoured guests. -UKASnews
