BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: The Sarawak Governor, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife, Toh Puan Fauziah Mohd Sanusi attended a dinner event with the Sarawak delegation at the Tarindak D’Polo Restaurant in Jerudong, Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam, on Sunday. 

The event was also enlivened by the presence of Sarawak Premier, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Abdul Rahman Zohari Tun Datuk Abang Openg and his wife, Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma'ani Tun Tuanku Bujang. 

Also present were Sarawak Deputy Premier, Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan and his wife, Dato Dayang Morliah Datuk Awang Daud, Sarawak Minister for Utility and Telecommunication, Dato Sri Julaihi Narawi, and High Commissioner of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam, Nur Ezira Mahadi.

The visit of Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi and his wife to Brunei is in conjunction with the celebration of the 78th birthday of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan Negara of Brunei Darussalam, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien.

He is scheduled to attend the ‘Majlis Istiadat Mengadap dan Mengurniakan Bintang-Bintang Kebesaran Negara Brunei Darussalam’ at the Balai Singgahsana Indera Buana at Istana Nurul Iman this morning. 

Meanwhile, the Sarawak Governor also meet the Sultan of Brunei Darussalam later at 2 p.m. 

The following day, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi and his wife will attend the Dinner Reception in conjunction with the Birthday of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah at the Royal Banquet Hall, Istana Nurul Iman at 7:30 p.m. -UKASnews
