KUCHING: The Sarawak Governor, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife, Toh Puan Fauziah Mohd Sanusi received a courtesy call from a delegation of Sarawak Senators and Former Senators at the Astana Negeri Sarawak, on Tuesday.

The members of the delegation were Senator Dato’ Ahmad Ibrahim, Senator Susan Chemerai Anding, Senator Michael Mujah Lihan, Senator Robert Lau Hui Yew, Senator Pele Peter Tinggom, Senator Rita Sarimah Patrick Insol as well as Former Senators, Dato Dr Zaiedi Suhaili and Datuk Paul Igai. 

According to Dato’ Ahmad, the courtesy call aimed to seek Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi’s valuable insights and perseptives on the Senate’s direction.

“Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi has been great in sharing his wisdom, and thus far, he has provided valuable insights into the direction he envisions for the Dewan Negara’s progress. 

“So, that's why we’ve brought most of our current (Sarawak) senators to engage in this courtesy call,” he said. 

He said this when met by reporters after the courtesy call. -UKASnews
