KANOWIT: The construction of a fence at Longhouse Rh. Corina Jenipa in Nanga Dap, costing RM150,000, was completed as part of the Ngemah State Assembly's Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) for 2023.
Ngemah Assemblyman, Anyi Jana, stated that the Kanowit District Council supervised the project as the implementing agency while the land in the Nanga Dap, Kanowit area was surveyed by the Land and Survey Department.
"Thanks to the cooperation of all residents, the land surveying in the Nanga Dap area has been successfully completed by the Land and Survey Department.
"For the residents in the Ngemah constituency, having your land surveyed by the Land and Survey Department will undoubtedly bring numerous benefits to the landowners," he said during the Inauguration Ceremony of the Fence at Longhouse Rh. Corina Jenipa on Sunday.
Additionally, Anyi Jana announced that the Ngemah ADUN Service Centre offers incentives for students who excel in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) and Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) exams.
Students pursuing further studies at the Diploma and Bachelor's degree levels will also receive a one-off incentive, subject to specific conditions.
During the same event, the Ngemah Assemblyman approved an MRP grant of RM5,000 for the Women’s Bureau of Rh. Corina Jenipa to implement family economic enhancement programmes, including handicrafts and other initiatives.
