KUCHING: The Sarawak UNIFOR Charitable Trust (SUCT) is very grateful to the Development Bank of Sarawak (DBOS) for its recent donation of RM250,000.

Sarawak Deputy Premier, Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas stated that DBOS is aiding the Unit For Other Religions (UNIFOR), in fostering socio-religious harmony, preserving inclusivity, and supporting underprivileged communities.

Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah who is also the Minister in Charge of UNIFOR said this generous donation will significantly help SUCT execute its programmes. 

“It is our hope that DBOS will continue to support SUCT in its charitable commitments to the non-Muslim community in Sarawak," he said in a statement.

Meanwhile, SUCT Chief Executive Officer (CEO), John Kennedy Janang paid a courtesy call on Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah at his office, today.

Also joining him was the new Director of UNIFOR, Datuk Georgina Apphia Ngau. -UKASnews
