KSN Leads List Of Diamond Jubilee Medal Recipients

KUCHING: The Chief Secretary to the Government (KSN), Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohd Zuki Ali, leads the list of recipients of the Diamond Jubilee Commemorative Medal (Gold) in celebration of Sarawak’s 60th year of independence.

Following him on the list are Deputy Minister of Digital, Datuk Wilson Ugak Kumbong; Deputy Minister in the Sarawak Premier’s Office, Datuk Dr Juanda Jaya; Malaysian Paralympic weightlifting athlete, Bonnie Bunyau Gustin; and Datu Chin Jiew Bui.

The medals were presented by Sarawak Premier, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Abdul Rahman Zohari Tun Datuk Abang Openg, in a ceremony at the State Legislative Assembly Banquet Hall on Thursday.

Also in attendance were the Premier’s wife, Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tuanku Bujang; Sarawak Deputy Premier, Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan; members of the Sarawak and Federal Cabinets; Sarawak State Secretary, Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki; deputy ministers from Sarawak and the Federal Government; department heads; and other distinguished guests.

Meanwhile, the President of the Sarawak Branch of the Girl Guides Association of Malaysia, Dato Dayang Morliah Datuk Awang Daud, leads the recipients of the Diamond Jubilee Service Medal (Silver), followed by the State Attorney General, Datu Saferi Ali; Deputy State Secretary (Operations), Datu Hii Chang Kee; Sarawak Mufti, Datu Kipli Yassin; 1 Division Infantry Commander, Major General Dato Hassan Embong; and Sarawak Police Commissioner, Dato Mancha Ata.

Other recipients of the Diamond Jubilee Service Medal (Silver) include Dato Sri Mohd Naroden Majais, Dato Sri Doris Sophia Brodie, Dato Sri Gramong Juna, Dato Sri Abdul Wahab Dolah, Dato Sri Mohamed Khalid Yusuf, Datuk Peter Nyarok Entrie, Datuk Dr Soon Choon Teck, Temenggong Dato Tan Joo Phoi, Datuk Peter Nansian Ngusie, Datuk David Teng Lung Chi, Datuk Dr Abang Abdul Rauf Abang Zen, Datuk Bolhassan Di, Datuk Yong Khoon Seng, Datuk Robert Lawson Chuat, and Datuk Mong Dagang.
