KUCHING: The Regional Corridor Development Authority (RECODA) has received recognition through the pilot project for the Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) MS ISO 37001 certification in the effort to combat corruption.

Sarawak Premier, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Abdul Rahman Zohari Tun Datuk Abang Openg, said that this recognition can instill confidence among foreign investors and the people of the state in the integrity and principled governance of government agencies.

"This is part of our journey towards 2030 where we emphasise on issues of delivery and transparency.

"At least with today's achievement, we have reached a level of success and what is important is that the system is already in place," he said.

He made these remarks while receiving the certificate from RECODA's Chief Executive Officer, Datu Ismawi Ismuni, at his office in Wisma Bapa Malaysia on Friday.

Furthermore, he commended RECODA for demonstrating a credible integrity role in the efforts to combat corruption.
