KUCHING: Her Majesty Raja Permaisuri Agong Raja Zarith Sofiah safely departed from the Kuching International Airport (KIA) on Sunday after completing a three-day official visit here.

Her Majesty departed for home using a special plane at 10.20am to Senai Airport which takes 1 hour 20 minutes to travel from KIA.

Her Majesty Raja Permaisuri Agong's return was accompanied by the wife of the Governor of Sarawak Toh Puan Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, the wife of the Sarawak Premier Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma'ani Tuanku Bujang, the Minister of Women, Early Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development of Sarawak, Dato Sri Fatimah Abdullah and Sarawak State Secretary, Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki and his wife Datin Amar Baduyah Bujang.

Also present were the wife of Sarawak's Deputy Premier Dato Dayang Morliah Datuk Awang Daud and Sarawak's Deputy Minister of Women, Early Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development, Datuk Rosey Yunus.

During her working visit to Kuching, Her Majesty Raja Permaisuri Agong officiated the 59th Annual General Meeting of the Girl Guide Association of Malaysia (PPPM) at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching on Saturday.

On the same day, Her Majesty also had the opportunity to attend the State Dinner in conjunction with Her Majesty's arrival in Sarawak which was held at the Sarawak State Legislature in the evening. - UKASnews
