MATU: A total of 3,683 school children in the Jemoreng constituency have received contributions in conjunction with the upcoming Aidilfitri celebration.
Deputy Minister in the Premier's Department (Integrity and Ombudsman), Datuk Dr. Juanda Jaya, presented Aidilfitri money to 891 school children on Thursday.
Earlier, the Jemoreng assemblyman distributed Aidilfitri money to 2,792 individuals on Wednesday.
The contributions were handed out during the Aidilfitri Charity Programme with Datuk Dr. Juanda Jaya, including students, teachers, and school staff in the small districts of Igan and Matu.
Meanwhile, the recipients expressed their appreciation to Datuk Dr. Juanda Jaya and the Sarawak government for their concern for the people's needs.
