KUCHING: The Sarawak Governor, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, along with his wife Toh Puan Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, made their first official visit to the Borneo Cultures Museum on Saturday since his appointment as head of state.

Their arrival was greeted by Sarawak Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts, Dato Sri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, and his wife Datin Sri Zuraini Abdul Jabbar at around 10.50 a.m.

During the visit, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi and his wife toured the Ranee Artisan Gallery and took commemorative photos with the staff of the Borneo Cultures Museum.

Also present were Deputy Minister of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts, Datuk Sebastian Ting Chew, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Sarawak, Datu Sherrina Hussaini, and Director of the Sarawak Museum Department, Nancy Jolhi.-UKASnews
