KUCHING: Sarawak Governor, Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi received a courtesy visit from the Sarawak Ulama Association (ITTIHAD) at the Astana Negeri Sarawak on Tuesday.

The ITTIHAD delegation was led by its President, Datu Ustaz Mohamed Ali Mohamed Sheriff accompanied by Deputy President, Ustaz Dr. Syed Abdul Aziz Datuk Wan Hamid Edrus, and Secretary, Ustaz Muhammad Adib Saini.

During the meeting, the ITTIHAD delegation introduced the background of the organisation and presented various educational, dakwah, and welfare initiatives carried out for the benefit of the Muslim community in Sarawak.

They also expressed their commitment to continue strengthening the role of dakwah institutions in guiding the ummah towards prosperity and unity.

Also present were ITTIHAD Working Committee Members, namely Datu Ustaz Khalidi Ibrahim, Ustaz Mohammad Ihsan Haidzir, Ustazah Dr. Sharifah Nooraida Wan Hasan, as well as Registered Member of ITTIHAD, Ustaz Ahmad Sukarno Saini. -UKASnews
