MUKAH: The team ScamPicklers clinched the championship title at the Lee Onn Goldsmith Mukah Pickleball Closed 2025 after defeating Serve2Win with a 2-0 victory in the final, held at the Mukah Indoor Stadium on Saturday.

Led by Valentine, Osman, Adrian and Anthony, the champions walked away with the championship trophy, medals and cash prizes for their outstanding performance.

The runner-up team Serve2Win, comprising Abby, Salleh, Ali and Hiroji, also took home medals and cash prizes for their efforts.

In the battle for third place, Lee Onn triumphed over Wen Onn Goldsmith with a similar 2-0 scoreline.

The Lee Onn team, represented by Allan Leong, Hakimi, Izaac and Noel, received medals and cash rewards, while Wen Onn Goldsmith, made up of James Leong, James Wong Pak Lee, James Wong Hang Teck and James Anthony, finished in fourth place.

The tournament was officiated by Balingian Assemblyman Abdul Yakub Arbi, with prize presentations handed out by the main sponsor, Leon Kian Lee.

A total of 16 teams from across Mukah participated in the one-day tournament, which showcased competitive yet friendly sportsmanship among local pickleball enthusiasts.

The event highlighted the growing popularity of pickleball in Mukah and brought the community together through friendly competition while promoting an active and healthy lifestyle among residents. -UKASnews
