KUCHING: Sarawak’s archery contingent wrapped up the Borneo Games Kuching (BGK) 2025 finals in spectacular fashion, claiming multiple golds and dominating the podium across several categories at MSN Archery Ranch, Petra Jaya.

In the compound men’s event, Jaccard Lee powered his way to gold, followed closely by teammate Zhorif Fahim Fadhillah who took silver. The women’s barebow category was a clean sweep for Sarawak, with Nurul Qistina Kamaruzaman, Norhafizah Salim, and Suryani Effendi securing gold, silver, and bronze respectively.

Sarawak also celebrated victories in the women’s recurve, where Eunice Kong struck gold and Sabrina Ryusin Chin clinched bronze. In the men’s recurve, Sarawak secured silver and bronze through Cecilnathanaelbusu Polycap and Melvin Tieh Xuan Ruey.

The state’s strong presence was further reinforced with a silver medal in the compound women’s event by Kaira Nadirah Aizuddin, adding to Sarawak’s impressive tally.
