MIRI: The UKAS Community Partner Programme 2025: Kembara 169, organised by the Sarawak Public Communications Unit (UKAS), will take place on 21 September.

Sarawak Deputy Minister of Women, Early Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development, Datuk Rosey Yunus, will officiate the flag-off ceremony for Kembara 169 at 8 a.m. at the Bekenu Waterfront.

The programme will feature the inaugural Kembara 169 convoy, led by Sarawak Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Corporate Affairs, Information & UKAS), Datuk Abdullah Saidol.

The closing ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. at Permy Mall Miri and will be officiated by Sarawak Minister of Transport, Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin.

The initiative is aimed at strengthening cooperation between UKAS and the local community, while also providing an opportunity for the public to better understand the role and initiatives of the state government. -UKASnews
