Sarawak Premier, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Abdul Rahman Zohari Tun Datuk Abang Openg said UNIFOR, established in 2017, has become an important institution in strengthening the state’s inclusivity policy by channelling financial assistance to houses of worship of other religions.

“As of today, a total of RM475 million has been allocated by the Sarawak Government through UNIFOR to houses of worship across the state.

“In addition, since 2021, RM90 million has been specially allocated for mission schools, bringing total funding under UNIFOR to RM565 million,” he said.
