KUCHING: Sarawak Governor, Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi received a courtesy visit from a Universiti Teknologi Sarawak (UTS) delegation led by the Deputy Minister for Education, Innovation and Talent Development, Datuk Dr. Annuar Rapaee on Thursday.

The delegation was also joined by UTS Vice-Chancellor, Professor Datuk Dr. Khairuddin Ab. Hamid and several senior university officials.

The visit served to invite the Sarawak Governor and his wife to attend the Statesman’s Lecture, Book Talk & Book Launch event which will be held at UTS on 30 August 2025.

At the event, two works written by Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Wan Junaidi will be launched, namely Teriso’s Little Star and Silence.

Teriso’s Little Star is based on the true story of his life, who was born in Kampung Pendam and grew up in Teriso.

Meanwhile, Silence is an anthology of poems, written in collaboration with Diana Ningkan and Yusuf Mustanir. Most of the poems in this anthology are born from the experiences and life journey of Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Wan Junaidi. -UKASnews
