KUCHING: The Institution of Engineers Malaysia (Sarawak Branch) (IEM) played host to the darts tournament of the Inter Professional Games (IPG) 2025, bringing together professional bodies for a spirited day of competition and camaraderie.

The Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) won the championship, led by Team Captain, Alvin Ang after defeating IEM in the final.

IEM had earlier beaten last year’s champion, the Advocates Association of Sarawak (AAS), in the semi-finals. Pertubuhan Arkitek Malaysia (PAM) placed 3rd, while AAS finished 4th.

The darts tournament marked another highlight in the IPG 2025 calendar, which continues to foster sporting ties and friendly rivalry among Sarawak’s professional associations.

The next fixtures are Golf on 17 August, Bowling on 24 August, and Badminton on 20–21 September, with more competitive action expected in the months ahead. -UKASnews
