'Jelajah Perpaduan Kayuhan Sihat Borneo 2025' Records Total Distance Of 1,885KM

KUCHING: The ‘Jelajah Perpaduan Kayuhan Sihat Borneo 2025’, which has covered a total distance of 1,885 kilometres since August 4, has drawn the curtain in a meaningful closing ceremony at the Penview Hotel, on Sunday.

The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister and Member of Parliament for Petra Jaya, Dato Sri Fadillah Yusof.

The programme, organised by the Pertubuhan Nadi Sihat in collaboration with the Ministry of Unity and the Department of Information Malaysia, involves two main phases with the participation of 48 participants from Sabah, Sarawak and Peninsular Malaysia.

The first phase starts from Kudat, Sabah to Batu Niah, Miri with the participation of 23 participants, while the second phase involves 25 participants who cycle from Batu Niah to Kuching.

The cycling will continue on Monday from Penview Hotel to Telok Melano as the final destination.

According to Dato Sri Fadillah, this recreational sports-based programme not only promotes a healthy lifestyle, but also strengthens the unity of multi-racial communities through joint participation from all over the country.

The ‘Jelajah Perpaduan Kayuhan Sihat Borneo’ was held last year with a route from Tanjung Piai, Johor to Kangar, Perlis.

Also present were the Minister of National Unity and Member of Parliament for Kanowit, Datuk Aaron Ago Dagang, Tanjong Datu Assemblyman, Azizul Annuar Adenan and President of Pertubuhan Nadi Sihat, Azlina Abdul Aziz. -UKASnews
