KUCHING: Sarawak Premier, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Abdul Rahman Zohari Tun Datuk Abang Openg received a courtesy visit from a Singapore Government delegation led by Singapore Minister for Energy, Science and Technology who is also the Minister for Manpower, Dr. Tan See Leng.

The courtesy call, held at Kompleks Satria Pertiwi on Tuesday, aimed to strengthen bilateral ties and explore strategic collaboration opportunities between Sarawak and Singapore in the fields of energy, science, and technology.

The Singapore delegation also included Assistant Chief Executive Officer of the Energy Market Authority (EMA), Eugene Toh, Chief Executive Officer of Singapore Energy Interconnections (5GE), Ong Teng Koon, Deputy Director at the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Li Xiaoyao, Economic Counsellor at the Singapore High Commission in Kuala Lumpur, Melissa Lee, Senior Assistant Director at the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Serena Chan, Seow Hui Lin Joycelyn from 5GE, and EMA Lead Analyst, Kannan Arunachalam.
