TERENGGANU: The Sarawak Protocol, Ceremonies and Event Management Unit (UPPANS) recently paid a courtesy visit to the Terengganu State Secretary's Office (Meeting and Protocol Management Division) at Wisma Darul Aman.

According to a statement, the visit was led by UPPANS Director, Datu Hamdan Sharbini.

Also present were UPPANS Head of Division (Protocol, Ceremonies and Event Management Division), Wan Fauzi Wan Ismail, Communication Officer of the Sarawak Liaison Office in Kuala Lumpur (PPSKL), Awang Supian Awang Daud, and UPPANS Head of Protocol and Public Relations, Dayang Nurhashimah Awang Hashim.

Meanwhile, the Terengganu State Secretary’s Office was led by Chief Assistant Secretary to the Government (Meeting and Protocol Management), Muhd Aimin Mohd Tahir, and Assistant Senior Administrative Officer (Administration), Kamarul Hisyam Abdullah.

This inaugural meeting aims to strengthen ties and create strategic cooperation between UPPANS, PPSKL and the Terengganu State Secretary’s Office.

This visit also aims for UPPANS to gain experience and references in the implementation of events that have been implemented at the Terengganu State Secretary’s Office, especially in the aspects of protocol, ceremonies and state event management. -UKASnews
