KUCHING: More than 40 senior leaders from the Sarawak Civil Service (SCS) took part in a Development Programme Series for SCS Leaders to strengthen their leadership capacity and enhance governance excellence across the public sector.

The programme, organised by the Sarawak Centre of Performance Excellence (SCOPE) in collaboration with the Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia (ICDM), concluded on Saturday after four impactful days of learning and engagement at Raia Hotel & Convention Centre.

Several participants noted the importance of lifelong learning and expressed a desire for more time, additional exercises, and deeper dives into future topics.

The feedback also reflected a strong interest in applying the knowledge gained to strengthen strategic thinking, improve oversight, and enhance decision-making in their respective departments.
