Sarawak Secretary & Wife Visit Grave Of The Late Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma’ani

KUCHING: Sarawak Secretary, Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki and his wife, Datin Amar Baduyah Bujang visited the grave of the late Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Bujang, wife of the Sarawak Premier, at the Tanah Perkuburan Islam Semariang on Tuesday.

Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar and his wife, accompanied by Muslim heads of departments, visited the grave of the late Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma’ani and performed Yassin and Tahlil recitations.

“On behalf of the Sarawak Civil Service, I extend my deepest condolences to the Sarawak Premier and his family on the passing of the late Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma’ani.

“During her lifetime, she often reminded us of the importance of caring for our welfare and health, and of working together as one family.

“May her soul be blessed and placed among the righteous,” he said.

Meanwhile, Datin Amar Baduyah also expressed her sorrow over the passing of the late Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma’ani, describing it as a great loss to MAKSAK Women.

She said that as the Advisor, the late Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma’ani was a source of inspiration for MAKSAK Women Sarawak and consistently supported all their activities.

“On behalf of MAKSAK Women, I extend our deepest condolences and pray that her soul be blessed and placed among the righteous,” she added.

The late Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma’ani breathed her last at Normah Medical Centre at 3.34 a.m. on Monday at the age of 76.
She was laid to rest at the Tanah Perkuburan Islam Semariang yesterday afternoon. -UKASnews
