Australian Minister Arrives In Kuching, Strengthens Bilateral Relations

KUCHING: The Minister for Trade, Business and Asian Relations of the Northern Territory of Australia, Robyn Cahill arrived in Kuching today for a four-day working visit.

The visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations between Sarawak and the Northern Territory of Australia, particularly in the areas of tourism, culture, and community relations.

In addition, it serves to further enhance diplomatic relations and promote social exchanges between Sarawak and Australia.
Robyn’s itinerary began with a visit to the Borneo Cultures Museum (BCM) at 11 a.m. this morning.

Accompanied by her liaison officer, Yasmin Khalid Nicholls, Robyn was briefed on the museum’s diverse historical and cultural collections showcasing Sarawak’s multi-ethnic heritage, including interactive exhibits and artefacts from the Dayak, Malay, Melanau, and Chinese communities.

In addition to visiting the BCM, Robyn is scheduled to hold an official meeting with Sarawak Deputy Premier, Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan at Wisma Sumber Alam.

This will be followed by a dinner reception attended by Sarawak Deputy Premier, Datuk Amar Professor Dr. Sim Kui Hian at the BCM. -UKASnews
