SMK Saribas Records Outstanding SPM 2024 Results, Significant Improvement In GPS

DEBAK: Joy filled the atmosphere at the Sri Rimbas Dining Hall as Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Saribas announced its outstanding Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2024 results last Thursday.

The school recorded a remarkable improvement with its School Average Grade (GPS) rising from 5.69 to 4.97, an impressive 0.72-point increase compared to the previous year.

A total of 141 candidates sat for the SPM 2024 examinations with 30 students achieving excellent results, a proud achievement for a rural school committed to nurturing quality students.

Among those who made the school proud was Rizatul Anis Rizam, who was named the school's top student after securing 11As.

Her success stands as a testament to perseverance, discipline, and the consistent guidance of her teachers.

In addition, Ghina Humayra Sarudin, Fiona Wong Hui Fen, and Roshiaxna Collisa Neyan Robert also achieved excellent results with each scoring 8As, while Nur Evanatasha Zainudin and Izzah Halqah Zulkifli obtained 7As.

In his speech, the Principal of SMK Saribas expressed his gratitude to the dedicated teachers and supportive parents who played vital roles in shaping the students' success.

He also emphasised the importance of continuous efforts to maintain this momentum of excellence.

"This success is not the achievement of any individual alone, it is the result of the collective efforts of the entire school community.

“We are proud of our students' achievements and pray that this success will serve as an inspiration for future generations,” he said. -UKASnews
