KUCHING: The Sustainability and Renewable Energy Forum (SAREF) is back for its fourth edition this year, bringing together leaders, experts and industry players from across Southeast Asia to discuss the future of regional sustainable energy.
Known as SAREF 4.0, the forum is scheduled to take place on 3 and 4 September at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK).
SAREF 4.0 is organised by Sarawak Energy Berhad with the main aim of driving discussions on renewable energy development and environmental sustainability, in line with the region’s efforts towards a sustainable energy transition.
Sarawak Deputy Minister of Energy and Environmental Sustainability, Datuk Dr Hazland Abg Hipni has been invited as a guest speaker at the forum, which will be entitled ‘Southeast Asia Energy Transition’ on the first day.
Datuk Dr Hazland also shared his suggestions and views on ensuring that the organisation of SAREF 4.0 has a lasting impact, not only on Sarawak, but also on the regional energy ecosystem. -UKASnews
