KUCHING: The Sarawak Governor, Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar performed Friday prayers with the local residents at the Darus Salam Mosque, Kampung Matang Batu 10 today.

His arrival was warmly welcomed by villagers and local community leaders, who took the opportunity to mingle with him.

Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Wan Junaidi’s presence was described as a great honour and reflected his concern for the community at the grassroots level.

Accompanying him was Chief Political Secretary to the Sarawak Premier and Tupong Assemblyman, Dato Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman.

Also present were the Mufti of Sarawak, Datu Kipli Yassin, Director of the Mufti Department of Sarawak, Ustaz Ahmad Sukarno Saini, and Director of the Islamic Religious Department of Sarawak, Ustaz Mual Suaud. -UKASnews
