KUCHING: Yayasan Sarawak (Sarawak Foundation) has announced the appointment of Datu Mohamad Junaidi Mohidin as its new Director, effective today.

He succeeds Datu Mersal Abang Rosli who has retired after serving Yayasan Sarawak for 43 years.

The symbolic handing over of duties ceremony was witnessed by Sarawak Secretary and Deputy Chairman of Yayasan Sarawak, Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki at Wisma Adenan, here.

Meanwhile, Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar extended his appreciation to Datu Mersal for his remarkable dedication and contributions over 43 years of service with the organisation.

He also welcomed Datu Mohamad Junaidi to his new role and expressed hope that his leadership would bring renewed energy and fresh approaches towards further strengthening the education sector and the development of human capital among Sarawakian students across the country. -UKASnews
