KUCHING: Sarawak Premier, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Abdul Rahman Zohari Tun Datuk Abang Openg, together with his wife, Datuk Amar Jumaani Tun Tuanku Bujang, continued the tradition of ‘ Berjarah Raya’ in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri at the residence of the Deputy Minister in the Sarawak Premier’s Department (Project Coordinator for Regional Development Agencies, Kuching North City Hall and Islamic Affairs), Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi at Jalan Sultan Tengah, here on Sunday.

The arrival of Datuk Patinggi Abang Zohari and his entourage at 10.50 am was warmly welcomed by the host Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman and his wife, Datin Siti Shorgayah Ahmad Zaidin at their residence compound.

The visit reflected the spirit of brotherhood and camaraderie that continues to be fostered among the state leadership in conjunction with the Aidilfitri celebration.

The cheerful and friendly atmosphere was also enlivened by the presence of family members and close acquaintances.

Datuk Patinggi Abang Zohari then continued his Hari Raya Aidilfitri open house visit to the Sarawak Ministry of Utility and Telecommunications' Aidilfitri Open House With Agencies Ceremony 2025 at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching.

The open house visiting continued on to the final destination, which was the Aidilfitri Open House Ceremony 2025 of the Stakan Kota Samarahan Assemblyman, Datuk Hamzah Ibrahim at the Stakan Service Centre at 2.00 pm.

This Aidilfitri visit is part of the annual practice of state leaders in strengthening their relationships with members of the administration and the local community. - UKASnews
