KUCHING: The Hari Raya Aidilfitri event organised by Deputy Minister in the Sarawak Premier's Department (Project Coordinator for Regional Development Agencies, Kuching North City Commission, and Islamic Affairs), Datuk Dr. Abdul Rahman Junaidi was held in a lively atmosphere at a hotel here on Wednesday.

The event, held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., was attended by guests from all walks of life who came to socialise and strengthen ties in conjunction with the month of Syawal.

Guests were served with traditional dishes such as lemang, ketupat, rendang, and kuih raya, representing the festivities of the Syawal celebration.

Apart from enjoying the traditional dishes, guests were also entertained with cultural performances that enlivened the ceremony.

This atmosphere of joy and warmth also displayed the spirit of togetherness that is the essence of the Syawal celebration, where friends, family, and relatives gather to strengthen their relationships with each other.
