KUCHING: The 2025 Jelajah Ramadan Programme organised by the Satok Constituency Service Centre continues to enliven the atmosphere of the holy month with various welfare and development initiatives.

Held at the Darulhana Patingan Mosque last Sunday, the programme saw the presence of Satok Assemblyman, Dato Ibrahim Baki who performed Isyak and Tarawih prayers in congregation with local residents.

Similar to previous years, the handover of donations to 15 asnaf was among the main agenda of the night.

In addition, the Darulhana Patingan Mosque also received a special contribution from Dato Ibrahim to help smooth the implementation of programmes throughout the month of Ramadan.

In his speech, Dato Ibrahim also announced several new infrastructure projects to be implemented in Kampung No. 6, including the paving of Jalan Lorong worth RM120,000, the construction of a drainage system with a total cost of RM150,000 and a contribution of funds worth RM100,000 under the Minor Rural Project (MRP) allocation.

The donation from Dato Ibrahim was received by the Deputy Chairman of the Darulhana Mosque, Dr Asri Said, witnessed by the Head of Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Kampung No. 6 Branch, Shah Izhan Isnin, as well as the congregation present.

With this initiative, Dato Ibrahim expressed hope that the well-being of the local community continues to be maintained, especially in terms of infrastructure facilities and the welfare of those in need. -UKASnews
