ICW & BuildXpo 2025 Commences On 28 To 30 October In KL

KUALA LUMPUR: The International Construction Week (ICW) and BuildXpo 2025, themed ‘Constructing the Future of ASEAN’, will take place from 28 to 30 October 2025 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur.

According to a statement by Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) Malaysia, it stated that as the anchor construction industry event for Malaysia’s ASEAN 2025 Chairmanship, ICW and BuildXpo 2025 will spotlight Malaysia and ASEAN’s leadership in sustainability, innovation, and technological advancements.

Consequently, this will further stimulate the local economy by fostering sustainable and forward-looking construction industry practices.

Meanwhile, Chairman of CIDB Malaysia, Ir. Yusuf Abd. Wahab in his welcoming speech highlighted the show’s focus on sustainability and digital transformation.

“The construction industry is at a turning point—embracing digital transformation and sustainable practices is no longer optional but imperative. ICW and BuildXpo 2025 will unite industry leaders to explore cutting-edge solutions.

“With strong participation from ASEAN member countries, this show will strengthen regional ties while expanding opportunities for Malaysian construction firms to compete and thrive in global and emerging markets,” he said at the soft launching ceremony of ICW and BuildXpo 2025 on Wednesday.

BuildXpo, the Malaysia International Building and Construction Industry Showcase, is the official trade showcase of ICW and is jointly organised by CIDB Malaysia and Qube Integrated Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (Qube), dedicated to B2B business matching platform designed to connect construction industry players across Malaysia and the region.

In its statement, CIDB Malaysia said the ICW and BuildXpo 2025 aims to propel the industry towards a more progressive and innovative future by 2030, fostering stronger collaboration among ASEAN member nations, in line with the National Construction Policy (NCP) 2030 vision, ‘Digitalising the Construction Sector’.

In addition, ICW 2025 will introduce a Borneo Edition from 13 to 14 May 2025 held at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK), Sarawak.
