KUCHING: Chief Political Secretary to the Sarawak Premier, Dato Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman expressed his appreciation to the Sarawak Premier, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Abdul Rahman Zohari Tun Datuk Abang Openg for the trust given to him to continue serving in the position.

The Tupong Assemblyman reaffirmed his commitment to support the leadership Datuk Patinggi Abang Zohari in implementing state development policies including the Post COVID-19 Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030 which emphasises environmental sustainability.

“The Office of the Political Secretary to the Sarawak Premier has implemented various initiatives to disseminate the policies and approaches of the Sarawak Government.

“It is crucial that these policies benefit as many people as possible to ensure that the Sarawak Government’s approach remains effective and aligns with the aspirations and needs of the people,” he said in a social media post on Friday.

He also expressed full support for efforts to uphold Sarawak’s rights as enshrined in the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63), the Inter-Governmental Committee (IGC) Report, and the Federal Constitution.

Dato Fazzrudin was first appointed to the position on 18 February 2022 and was sworn in for a second term today at Wisma Bapa Malaysia. -UKASnews
